They have chosen their name not only based on a cruise in powerful stream or on sudden changes in music, but also according to their likes of real rafting. Trio from the Flemish Tongeren consists of a vibraphonist Jan Nihoul, a bass player Koen Toté and a drummer Peter Van Tichelen, and the composition of a vibraphone as a pivotal instrument determines their direction. There are echoes of jazz formations that have a pianists in their midst, such as Avishai Cohen or Brad Mehldau. They take pride in a team spirit and they invite the audience to an adventure they can become a part of.
